Have you ever wondered how to get started again with Bright Line Eating? Maybe you’ve done the program and had some success, but then found yourself wondering later how you got off track.

If so, this vlog is for you. It’s about a powerful new course to help you restart Bright Line Eating.

Why Do People Drift Away from Their Bright Lines?

Let’s talk about why people drift away. The food world we live in today creates a non-stop daily erosion of our food habits and identity. It can take a toll, and we might drift.

Some people think that Bright Line Eating is too rigorous, but over time, eating addictive food without guardrails convinces them they had it better with the program. Others are running experiments with other programs or with alcohol, artificial sweeteners, or brown flour instead of white flour.

You might drift because you resist being called a food addict. I understand that. I talk about myself as a food addict because it’s an identity that works for me. It motivates me to work a strong program, but you might resist that and I get it.

When Life Gets Lifey: Why People Fall Off Their Plan

I think the number one reason why people drift is that life gets lifey. Things happen. You lose a job, or a parent, or have some other circumstance that impacts you. We may stop doing habit stacks, or weighing and measuring, and suddenly, that’s one more reason why we’re overwhelmed.

What underlies this is intermittent reinforcement. Once we start making exceptions with our food, our brain becomes resistant to extinction. What that means is that the brain gets used to our exceptions, and it expects us to give in—so it just hounds us a little bit more, waiting for us to cave. It takes an enormous amount of support, once this pattern is established, to outlast a brain that has been trained to call our bluff.

But we mean it when we say you’re not called to be perfect. You’re called to be unstoppaBLE. We love you. We understand. We are totally focused on helping you to unwind the shame and isolation and get to your next Bright meal. Addiction of any kind is a beast, and food is the hardest.

Our New Course Helps You to Reset and Rezoom

So we’ve created a new course. It’s called The Bright Reset: 21 Days. 7 Practices. 1 Devoted You.

We thought a lot about the difference between Rezoom and reset. A Rezoom in Bright Line Eating is getting your lines Bright when they haven’t been before. But we didn’t put Rezoom in the title, because we wanted this course to also be for people who are Bright, but wanted a refresh.

We know there are people who’ve been Bright for years, but want to take their program to the next level, or take a deeper dive into food recovery. So the Bright Reset works for a Rezoom—and for a refresh.

The Bright Reset is shorter than Boot Camp. It’s more intensively focused and targeted. You only need to spend 15 minutes a day, taking one powerful action each day. It’s laser focused.

I explain everything about it in a MiniClass, linked below. The MiniClass is 24 minutes long and gives some good background on the science and psychology of the Rezoom.

For First Timers, Boot Camp 2.0 is the Right Option

This new course is not for people who are starting from scratch. I want to be clear about that. For you, we have the Boot Camp. You can access it at our website, BrightLineEating.com, by watching the Masterclass.

If you’re watching this vlog in real time, in September 2025, we’re launching The Bright Reset right now. There are a few days to register. Click the link below. We’re doing live webinars, too, so feel free to join us there.

If you’re watching this vlog in the future, this MiniClass will be available to you, as will the Bright Reset course. And if you do the course, at the end, you’ll get an invitation to come into Bright Lifers.

If you’ve been wanting to get support through Bright Lifers, here’s your passport. I’m super-excited to announce this new tool. If you’ve done Bright Line Eating before and want a reset, click below to access the MiniClass. I can’t wait to see you in The Bright Reset.
