Hey there. Welcome to our fifth and final video, the bonus video in this series on how to get weight-loss drug results without the drugs. It's called weight-loss drugs and beyond what really works for lifelong success. Before I shoot a video like this, I always sit in meditation for a bit and just really think about the people who might watch it and how their lives might be impacted. I reflect back on what my life was like over 20 years ago when I was still struggling with every breath, every day with my food and my weight. The dishes were piling up in the sink, the laundry was piling up. I was struggling to finish my doctoral dissertation. I had clinical depression and I was on massive doses of antidepressants. Life felt so unmanageable, so hard, so desperate. I'd been trying to conquer my weight issue for so many years, and I was nine years clean and sober from drugs and alcohol at this point, and I couldn't figure out what to do with my food. I'd run a marathon. I'd tried hypnotherapy, group therapy, individual therapy, scads and scads of 12-step programs in different programs, different configurations, different meetings. I'd tried Fit for Life, Body for Life, the USANA Lean Program, the Atkins program, Weight Watchers, multiple times. I had dozens more than that. The Susan Powter Stop the Insanity program, the Raquel Welsh Total Beauty Diet. I mean, really, you name it. I tried it and I just didn't know what to do. I graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, spoke at the graduation at UC Berkeley. I felt like I could do anything in my life and I did not understand how I could not solve this food in this weight problem. It did not seem that complicated, like really, Susan, stop bending your elbow and putting that food into your mouth.
I did finally get taught a simple formula. Don't eat sugar. Don't eat flour. I listened. I'd actually heard that message maybe five years prior. Just the thought of weighing and measuring food, and not eating sugar and flour, it sounded crazy to me. It sounded extreme. I didn't want it. I didn't hear it. I saw that the person was thin and seemed really happy, but I didn't listen. Then five years later, I was desperate enough and I suspended disbelief, and I was utterly, utterly transformed. It was so sudden it was like a switch just got flipped and all of a sudden weight melted off. I got happier, my mood lifted. Everything seemed brighter. It really felt like being Cinderella. Suddenly the fairy godmother showed up and everything about my life transformed. Now, a lot of time has passed. It's been 21 years and I now spend pretty much all of my professional time teaching people how to get this transformation. We now call it the Bright Transformation because there's no good words for it, but the Bright Transformation, it's a physical, mental, emotional, spiritual life change that happens. It's not just about food and weight, it's about every aspect of life and how we show up for ourselves and how we relate to this world. I think what I could do best to convey the Bright Transformation to you, it's to just introduce you to some people who've had their Bright Transformation so you can really get a sense of what it's like. Check it out.
Anne:
My life journey around weight and food and weight gain and weight loss has been a lifelong journey. I would say.
Matt:
I've been struggling with my weight since I was a teenager. The pounds just started adding up. Eventually I got to 347 pounds.
Betty:
I began to feel that this was the only area in my life where hard work, perseverance, willpower, suffering, wasn't going to do the trick. It felt as if it was now or never to find a solution that worked.
Matt:
When I first heard about Bright Line Eating® and started researching the program, I couldn't believe how much it felt like what I've been feeling on the inside for so long. It acknowledged food addiction as being real. This is a strategy to deal with it and live with it in a way that gives you the freedom to get your life back.
Anne:
And what happened when I started this transformation, wow, it worked exactly. The weight loss was about 30 pounds and 30 pounds might not sound like much to a lot of people, but it was my much and it was my impossible.
Matt:
I've been doing Bright Line Eating for 10 months. I started at 330 pounds. In less than 10 months, I lost 143 pounds with Bright Line Eating and am at a healthy weight for the first time in my adult life.
Betty:
Sugar and flour were dear friends, but it was clear that they were kind of the drivers of a vicious cycle where I started, I started at 206 and I'm 130 pounds now. So, lost 76 pounds on BLE.
Anne:
But I've been in Maintenance ever since, for 2030 some days. And I felt Bright Line Eating gave me plenty of room to be me.
Matt:
Here's the types of foods you should have and the quantities that you should be aiming to have, and you fit the foods that you enjoy in your life into those guidelines. You eat the things you love still. It's great. You just skip the stuff that was poisoning you.
Betty:
Acknowledging that food addiction is real. Acknowledging that there is a structured program that helps for it, acknowledging that some of us have it worse than others have been the pillars of my success in Bright Line Eating. And this is a lifetime commitment for me.
Susan:
It has been amazing to watch people from all over the world have this Bright Transformation, not just a few people, but thousands and thousands of people. Honestly, I feel humbled. I feel just astounded to watch the impact of what we've created, ripple throughout the world. We've created quite a movement here, a global movement of people who are now able to show up for their lives so much more fully bring their gifts and their talents and their abilities, their skills to their jobs, to their families, to their passions, to their pursuits so much more fully because they're not blocked off by thinking about what they've eaten or not eaten, not struggling with their weight anymore, not starting their fourth diet this year. Oh, by the way, research shows that people who diet, which is half of people in the United States start four or five new attempts each year. What a waste of human potential. To see all these people freed up and transformed, it's just astounding.
The core mechanism of transformation is the Bright Line Eating Boot Camp. We're in our second iteration now because after about nine years of offering the Boot Camp, we sat back and really analyzed everything we'd learned, helping thousands of people have this transformation. We looked at the science. A lot of science happens in nine years. The transformational experience that people are getting now in the Bright Line Eating Boot Camp 2.0 is otherworldly.
So, who is this for? Well, clearly, it's for people who want weight-loss drug results without the drugs. If you've been following along this far and you've been considering weight-loss drugs, you may be at the point where you're like, “You know what? I do think I want to try a behavioral approach, a psychological approach, a scientific approach, a community-based approach, as opposed to a pharmacological approach.” The Boot Camp might be for you. It's also for someone who's currently on a weight-loss drug and wants to supercharge their results. Because weight-loss drugs typically don't take people all the way to their goal weight and beyond teaching them how to live in Maintenance. In Bright Line Eating, we do that. You might want to combine the two. And It can also be for you if you're on a weight-loss drug right now, but you want to transition off because again, research shows a lot of people due to cost, due to side effects, or for whatever reason, don't stay on them long term. 13 months is the average. So, if you're wanting to transition off but safeguard your investment because you've invested a lot of time and a lot of money getting on those drugs and being on them, and you don't want to regain your weight, which the research shows you will if you go off the drugs without an alternate plan line, Bright Line Eating can be your stop gap to make sure you don't regain the weight, and we can take you from there.
In terms of the Food Addiction Susceptibility Scale™ from one to 10, with 10 being high, I don't know if you've taken the quiz yet, you might want to do that at some point. We tend to serve people best who are on the high end of that scale. Sevens, eights, nines, tens. Now I'm just going to be upfront about that. If you're on the low end of the scale, the Boot Camp was not made for you. That doesn't mean you can't take it. We do have people who are on the low end of the scale, somewhere between one to six, low to moderate, who decide that they want the weight-loss results. They don't have a big food addiction problem and they're willing to modify the program. Translate what I'm saying, understand that I'm really teaching and speaking to people who are very susceptible to the pull of addictive foods, and that's okay with them. So, you can enroll in the Boot Camp if you want, if you're lower on the scale, if you're a 7, 8, 9 or 10, and you really feel the pull of those addictive foods, we made this Boot Camp for you.
What's in the Boot Camp? What do you get? What's involved? Well, first of all, I just need to say the Boot Camp is a transformational experience. It's fundamentally not about the stuff that you get in it. I also know that a lot of people really like to research the nuts and bolts, and you want to know what's in it. So, here we go. What's great about the Boot Camp is it starts off very, very strong. Now, it is an intensive start. It's going to take a good six hours to get the system to learn all about it, to get up and running. This is the Planning & Preparation Process. We call it Module 0. You can do it in a day. You can do it in a week. We give you plenty of time to do it. But I want you to know the beginning is very clear, it's very strong. In this Planning & Preparation Process, we will set you up for success. We don't call it Boot Camp for nothing. By the way, we chose that name very carefully. We're so not bellicose around here. Nobody's fighting. There's no war. We're not going to make you shave your head, but we will take you from civilian status, eating whatever, whenever, not knowing what to eat, not knowing how to structure your day or your food, and we will indoctrinate you into a different way of orienting toward your food. Suddenly you will find yourself in a community of people, one among many and knowing exactly how to handle your food and your day to be set up for success every day. The Planning & Preparation Process kicks that off.
Then the weekly module starts. It's a 10-week course. You're going to get the whole Bright Line Eating system. We're going to teach you about the four Bright Lines. There are four of them. I've talked primarily about the first two, no sugar, no flour. There's a third line for meals. I talked about that too. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No grazing, no snacking, no eating in between. The fourth Bright Line is for quantities. I recommend a digital food scale, and I'm just going to ask you to trust me on this one. I know it sounds crazy pants to weigh and measure your food, especially your vegetables, who does that? But there is method behind this madness, the freedom that comes from your brain knowing that you've got the right amount of food on the plate and that you're not going to have any more, creates a boundary around your food that liberates your thinking. You don't have to think about food beyond that at all. Now, you may not have thought of this, but actually one of the main reasons also that we weigh our food is because most people won't eat enough otherwise, especially enough vegetables. If you're going to get from breakfast to lunch and lunch to dinner without eating in between, you have to eat way more than you think you do. I just want to say our quantities are not restrictive at all. More people write in saying, “Hey, I can't handle this volume of food. What gives? You're making me eat too much,” than write in saying that they're hungry. So, don't you worry about the whole restrictive thing around weighing and measuring food. That's not what it's about.
Then week by week, you're going to get the Bright Line Eating system, including downloadable, printable guides, checklists, food plans and habit trackers, and there's going to be video content every week in modules that is very much like this, just me talking to you in a video and explaining what you'll be going through. I've just coached so many people through this process by now that I know what it feels like to be in week three of the Boot Camp, for example, and what you'll be feeling, what you'll be experiencing, the questions you'll have, and I answer them in very short little videos that you can watch over breakfast, over lunch. You can listen to them as podcast recordings if you prefer that. We have transcripts of them, them if you prefer to read. We've got you covered in any format you prefer, and it's really not going to be that much content, maybe an hour and a half to two and a half hours per week to get through all of it.
We know what you're going to be going through learning Bright Line Eating. So, we're going to give you a bunch of specific modules and processes and support structures so that you know everything you need to know to succeed in the world. Specifically, you'll get the 5-Minute Meals menu because if you're busy like me, you may not have a lot of time to cook. We teach you how to do it fast. You'll get the Effortless Eating Out System, which means that you can literally eat out anywhere. In a Thai restaurant, in a Japanese restaurant, in an Italian restaurant, in a Greek restaurant, in an airport at four in the morning around the world. You can get a Bright meal anywhere. I've done it, I promise you.
Speaking of travel, you'll get the Meals on the Move Travel Tips, which teaches you all about how to travel, every kind of travel cruises, road trips, conferences, every type of travel you can imagine. We teach you how to navigate it, and we give you the Food Freedom Forever Maintenance Plan. We set you up in the Boot Camp knowing that the long game is you're going to be transitioning to Maintenance, losing all your excess weight and then living at Maintenance. The seeds for that long-term success will be planted right from Day 1. Then you'll get our Super Support Package, which includes our private online connection and conversation community. This is available to you 24/7 in two different platforms, by the way. Facebook, which is amazing for people who love Facebook and are in it, and not Facebook, which is our proprietary system that's out of Facebook for people who don't want to be in Facebook. You can access either one or both. You get Customized Care Weekly Coaching Calls. These are live group coaching calls where our exquisitely trained and fabulously supportive and knowledgeable, Bright Line Eating Coaches will guide you and support you with whatever your personal issue is. So, let's imagine that Boot Camp starts and your cousin's wedding is the next Friday, and you're like, “Help! What do I do? I've got to go to this wedding. I'm not sure how to navigate it.” No problem. You get on a coaching call, you run it by a coach and your hand gets held every step of the way, so you stay Bright through it. Finally, we've got several ways for you to stay connected and get connected to the people in the Boot Camp. We teach you how to form buddies, how to form Mastermind Groups, how to get connected with other people to go through the material in a study buddy group, and how to join a Meetup, which is a video call led by one of the thousands of people in our global Bright Line Eating community on all kinds of different topics. They meet daily, weekly, monthly, at different times of day, and you can attend as many as you'd like.
I know we've got a lot of introverts who do Bright Line Eating. We have support structures that are tailored for however you prefer to get your support. I know I've mentioned to you that people experience their loneliness melting away and feeling more loved and supported and connected in the world through Bright Line Eating. A lot of that is due to the care that we put into making sure that everyone knows how to get connected up and feel supported. You can access this all with any internet browser on any device. You can also download our private app and access it all in the app. What's really great about the app is it's seamless integration of our Online Support Community. This is where you'll engage with other members of the Bright Line Eating community, attend virtual meetups, ask questions, get support and more.
Okay, so what's the investment for this? Well, let's talk about the weight-loss drug comparison because that's what we've been talking about this whole time. Semaglutide drugs like Wegovy and Ozempic in the United States at full price are about $1,300 a month more in some cases, but that's a rough estimate. The Bright Line Eating Boot Camp is $997. So, at $1,300 a month, you'd pay $3,250 for semaglutide drugs. Check out this graph. Remember we're talking about the first two months of your weight loss journey. In the first two months, you can expect to lose twice as much on Bright Line Eating for 70% less investment. I just want to zoom out a little bit because I don't want this to be a flash in the pan, quick fix approach like a diet. This is a transformation. This is a life experience. After the Boot Camp ends, we have an ongoing membership program called Bright Lifers™. I just want to orient you to the reality that five years of weight-loss drugs will cost $96,000 at full price, $96,000 and five years of Bright Line Eating will be $2,000.
Now, actually because we're in a launch and this is just a special time, we are discounting the Boot Camp. So, it's not $997, it's half off. Right now, you can register for $497, and you can also split that up into small payments if you want, by selecting something called Afterpay on the checkout form, if that works better for your budgeting.
Now I do have a little more for you. Through years of teaching people this way of life, we've learned that there's three key ways that they need extra support, that they might struggle. We've created three powerful bonuses for you and yeah, I'm excited to tell you about them. The first bonus is called A Full Flourishing Life because the reality is having a food plan is great, but when social situations show up, now the rubber meets the road. In this bonus, we will give you everything you need to navigate all of the social relationships and social experiences you're going to have as you live your life. This includes a special Friends & Family video that you can literally send the link to your friends, your family, your spouse, your kids, your whoever. It will explain Bright Line Eating to them and what you're doing and why for you. It does a lot of the heavy lifting and it will also cover every type of social situation you might need to navigate every wedding, every dinner party. We got you covered.
Bonus number 2 is the Break Through Your Resistance Roadmap. This is for you if you're watching this and you literally don't think you could do it, don't think you could get started, don't think you could succeed, have difficulty with the thought of even imagining this working and yet you know, need it and a part of you really wants it. We give you this bonus right upfront when you register so that if even starting the Planning & Preparation Process sounds like more than you could imagine doing, you can go right to the Break Through Your Resistance Roadmap and do some work on the Part of you that is resistant to trying and starting. All through the Boot Camp, if you ever encounter inner resistance to what's going on, you can return to this bonus and get unstuck.
Finally, bonus number 3 is the Relapse Rescue Bonus. It's your fail-safe plan for getting back on your plan because the reality is that nobody's perfect. We live on planet Earth as human beings and some people do start the Bright Line Eating Boot Camp and honestly cruise along with no breaks in their Bright Lines ever. We have built a plan that makes that possible, and a lot of people start do great for a bit and then trip up a bit and the Relapse Rescue Bonus has got your back.
Literally the options are you start, you cruise along, it's smooth sailing, or you start, you cruise along, you trip up, and then you learn again and again how to get right back on plan so you don't fall prey to what the hell effect, which is literally the scientific term for it in the literature where you blow your plan and then you read everything in sight and you start again on January 1st. No more of that around here. We are experts at teaching you how to get right back on track, including all the psychological details of making that a reality. And on top of all that, there's a 14-day, 100% absolute money back guarantee, two full weeks more than it takes to get through the Planning & Preparation Process, get another bonus under your belt, get the first module happening, and if you decide at any point in those 14 days that this is not for you, that you don't want to do it, that it doesn't feel like a fit for whatever reason, you can have a hundred percent of your money back. Once again, that's a lot of stuff, a lot of things that you get in the Boot Camp. I just want to reorient you for a moment before we sign off here to the reality that what this really is at its core is a human transformation. Here's one more story to illustrate what that looks like.
Tony:
In 2005, I got to the point where I weighed 464 pounds, all the things that come with it, the neuropathy in my feet, the joint pain, prediabetes, all that fun stuff. So, that was my top weight. Once in a while, I would want to lose some weight. I would lift weights. I would cut down on this for a while, and then sooner or later I would start doing it again. I would start eating it again and gain any weight that I lost. I would gain it all back and then some, I had a friend who this guy was, he weighed less than me, he was younger than me, and he had a stroke, and I saw myself, I saw it, I go, that's what's going to happen to me. I'm going to have a stroke. I'm going to have a heart attack, or I'm going to have both. And this Bright Line Eating, I was just floored because here's what I saw was I saw this fellowship, but I also saw something totally new, and that was the science. I started to do it and my life started to change. I had lost 140 something pounds, about 150 pounds. What I've gotten from Bright Line Eating is so much more than what I came in the door for, which I think is true for a lot of people. One of the things Bright Line Eating talks about is how the cravings are going to go away. And for me, that was true in short order. It's not about what I'm not doing. It's about me being proactive and doing certain things. So, I had this whole wonderful world of food to eat that I didn't have before. Now those are things that I crave. These things that have been taught to me in Bright Line Eating are now not just theories. Now, this is kind of who I am. I'm not a miracle. I see it now that what I need to do is to keep doing these things that got me to this point. I had never dared dream about being thin. But then once you get there, then what? Once I was able to get down to where I felt comfortable, then the things that come with that are confidence. I have gifts to give. Not just me either, some of us are food addicts, but for the ones who have stuck with it, who really give it a try and not treat it as just another diet, it’s life changing. I mean life changing.
Susan:
Here's what's going to happen. You click the button, you register for the Boot Camp, and 14 days from now, you will either be deciding it's not for you and getting all of your money back, so zero risk, you're not out anything. As a matter of fact, you're better off. You watched yourself try and learned a little something about yourself, about something that's actually not right for you. It sounded good, but it wasn't a fit, or you are well on your way, having lost already a shocking amount of weight. We have learned that people tend to lose quite a bit of weight in those first couple of weeks. You will be experiencing already the changes in your brain, the changes in your mood that let you know, this is real. This is going to work for you. This is different. This is happening, and you are on your way. So, there's no risk.
I just encourage you right now to ignore the fact that you might be thinking, I don't think I could do this. We've actually looked at the people who are successful with Bright Line Eating, and most of them at this point in watching a video just like this thought, “I don't think I can do it.” It turns out that shockingly, that's not the relevant factor. It doesn't matter whether you think you could do it, whether you believe it works or will work for you. What matters is that you take a small action. That's it. What matters is what you do, not how you feel, or what you think or what you believe, only what you do.
This moment right here is the Choice point, and I just invite you to look for that little button that invites you to register right now for the Bright Line Eating Boot Camp because your life is about to change, and I'll see you on the inside.
