About the Authors 

Susan Peirce Thompson, Ph.D., is the New York Times best-selling author of Bright Line Eating,The Official Bright Line Eating Cookbook, Rezoom, On This Bright Day, and Maintain. She is an adjunct associate professor of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Rochester and an expert in the psychology of eating. She is president of the Institute for Sustainable Weight Loss and the founder and CEO of Bright Line Eating Solutions, a company dedicated to helping people achieve long-term, sustainable weight loss.

JoAnn Campbell-Rice, Ph.D., has been a coach for Bright Line Eating since 2019, specializing in supporting those who need to or are Rezooming. She was an English professor at Indiana University Bloomington, is a trained Spiritual Director, and worked at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation for more than ten years as a Spiritual Care Professional.
